This project was part of a larger undertaking to establish a natural language vocabulary for a voice-activated mobile application. The app was intended to help address specific mental health needs in the community. The project addresses PLO 1 by applying basic concepts of knowledge organization, including taxonomic structures and controlled vocabularies. It further touches on PLO 2 by synthesizing existing research and applying it to the problem of access to mental health services. Finally, this project fulfills PLO 5 by supporting a mobile app that empowers users through crucial mental health resources.
